The face-offs between bowler and batsman is what I like. The challenge of taking a wicket. Americans say similar things about baseball as far as excitement goes.
cool….we would have called baseball ’rounders’ as a child…one would tend to watch gaelic games….fast and exciting…well one thinkso anyway…:)

In the test match format, which is played over several days, there is a lunch break and a tea break. All very Victorian or Edwardian. In cricket the twentieth century never happened.
