Over in a dusty corner, in an alcove, I found this Vermont Teddy Bear. It also had a Happy Birthday star 🌟. I did not put that with the bear just yet, to see if Gigi remembers.

Yes.
awww. hello, friends. Once, someone i was with showed up at work to pick me up, which was unusual. When she saw me, she had a stuffy in her hand for me, so i immediately melted. Then, another, behind her other hand. Finally, she opened the van door to reveal an entire bench of stuffies!! It was really The Best.
Do you know what buildabear is? You can order them online, have them shipped to the house. The best part, though, is you can record whatever you want on a message that plays when she presses the bears hand. You have a ton of choices and can have her name stitched into some of them. On the expensive end, FAO Schwartz has a line of german made stuffies that are around $50 but they are really beautifully made and nice enough that they feel like heirloom quality. i can tell you they hold up to a lot of love.
I am thinking about the next surprise.

I am. I found her favorite chocolate mini croissants at Publix yesterday. She loves those.
