Where do I start? It was a good day. Got some money deposited in my checking and bought fruit and seltzer and fish for dinner.
I wanted a donut, went to Dunkin’ Donuts, and bought two. They were OK. Not worth the WW points or the calories. I tried to take a nap with moderate success.
I went swimming, five days in a row. I had not done that in a while. The total for the week is over 6 miles. I am on pace for a good month. After a few setbacks, I should have a total of 100 miles swum between January and the end of June.
I came home, rested a while, fixed dinner. Grilled salmon, cold vegetables from last night, fresh tomatoes. I just finished some sliced fruit, mango, strawberries, and bananas.
I’m watching Sam Peckinpah’s The Wild Bunch. This may be my favorite Western of all time. The acting, story, action scenes, even the score work brilliantly.
So my neck/shoulder issues are greatly improved. The swimming, coupled with pain meds, heat and ice post workout are working.
I think I will watch Seinfeld now.
You had me up until Seinfeld. “The show about nothing” is about 3 down the line from my disdain of Friends. Can’t stand that show at all!
Seems you need someone to give you a post workout massage. Just a thought…. 😉
Yes. I have seen just about every Seinfeld untold numbers of times. I don’t why I still watch it. When George’s fiancée dies from licking poison glue on the wedding invitation envelopes, it stopped being funny even. They function like bedtime stories, I fall asleep to them.
Massage would be nice.
Now, that episode was one of the few I loved. Dark humor? Sign me up! The other one I loved was Elaine and “Is he sponge worthy?” when she found out there were no longer making them. My husband watches Seinfeld in the same way. Comfort and He knows He’ll always like them if nothing else is on. We differ a bit in this department… and choice of candy. Don’t get me started! lol
Yes, a massage would be nice!!!
I get the black humour thing. I guess I just liked the character Susan and the actress who played her. I get it. George IS a LOSER.
How’s your day thus far?
Not bad. Have given in and started using a cane to help with some balance issues around working through the pinched nerve,
Ugh! I’ve been there, done that and bought the t-shirt more than once. 😦 A couple times I’ve ended up on a walker to relieve enough pressure to be able to walk more than a few feet. Your pain is reducing overall, right?
Yes. I’m doing better overall. Just noticed slight dizziness and realized im re-learning posture and that affects my inner ear.
