There was a shooting at two mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand. The Bangladesh National Cricket Side was in town for a test match. I hope they’re safe.
The perpetrator is an avowed white racist, not a Muslim. 49 people were killed.
Every time a shooting like this occurs, any murder really, part of me dies too. A little bit of hope that we really are rational, sensitive, loving creature shrivels up, withers away. Maybe that’s necessary.
No. It is the necessary. Instead it should propel you to lead by example that the opposite is true as well. That we can be caring, sensitive, compassionate, loving, humane souls to ourselves and others.
Don’t let it kill your soul. Let it inspire you to do more, be more, feel more.
Thank you. We have to look into the face of evil to strengthen our resolve to do good
It seems to be the case yes. I suppose we can sit it out, and just watch the show, but for some of us that isn’t an option. We are forced through our own innate sense of justice or forces beyond our own to participate. I think it makes for a more meaningful life anyway. So…win/win.
Yes. More engagement with the issues will make the difference
