You can get in your car or truck and cruise up and down Figueroa Street in Los Angeles. There is trash, an occasional gathering of homeless people living near a tent and a blue tarp overhanging a chain link fence.
The real stars are the street prostitutes, looking for work, as it were. They are dressed or displayed , as only street prostitutes can display themselves. I guess they make money doing this. This street couture reflects their only creative outlet. It’s like white collar guys trying to get their shirts and ties to complement.
Do Gavin Newsome or Adam Schiff watch this? I wonder.

Funny you should mention Adam Schiff. For the longest time when I saw this name I thought they were referring to the original District Attorney on Law and Order. You know the guy that was also the lead spy on TV’s Mission Impossible (Dan Briggs) before Peter Graves. Steven Hill.
